Plank Jacks

Day 13 and our last challenge day for week 2 – so you know we gotta up the party!  We’re bringing in more cardio today – more control – more stability – more upper, lower & core strength.  You’ve got this!

Today’s variation is the plank jack.  Basically this move is a jumping jack, but done in a plank.  So you start first in a perfect plank – then jump your feet out like a jumping jack, and jump back in.

Yes you CAN keep this move low impact and take the jump out.  Then you would simply tap 1 foot side and in … then the other foot side and in.

Note 2 is still all about CONTROL!  Even as you’re jumping through your jacks, keep your core braced and hips tucked under – trying your best to not ‘spill the water’ resting on your back.  Move with control.

Today’s challenge:

  • 20 Plank Jacks
  • Baseline low plank + 15 seconds
  • Repeat 3 times
